The description
Adobe Animate CC is the new name for Adobe Flash Professional software that supports web standards. You can create interactive animations and publish them to different platforms including Flash/Adobe AIR, HTML5, WebGL using the cut designer tool. You can also browse and access fonts, colors, graphics, and all kinds of creative tools in the library that are available in other animation programs and Creative Cloud.

As of November 2015, Adobe Edge Animate software is no longer updated and has been replaced by Adobe Animate.
